Kerala High Court Assistant Previous Year Question Papers
Some changes have come in the Kerala High Court Assistant exam of 2021. Though the number of questions and their duration for the objective exam remain the same, there has been a change in the pattern of the questions and in the negative marking scheme.
In 2021, the number of questions from English section has been increased to 50, that is , half of the question paper will now have questions from English. So that means English is gaining importance year after year. Whereas, questions from Maths and General Knowledge including Current Affairs have plummeted to 10 and 40 respectively.
Now the negative marking is one-fourth. All these have to be taken care of while preparing for the exam.
Change in the objective exam pattern
Scheme in 2019 Total Questions – 100 q Total Marks – 100 m Duration – 75 min Negative Marks – One third Breakdown of Subjects – English (30 q), Maths & Reasoning (20 q), GK (50 q) Scheme in 2021 Total Questions – 100 q Total Marks – 100 m Duration – 75 min Negative Marks – One fourth Breakdown of Subjects – English (50 q), Maths & Reasoning (10 q), GK (40 q) There has been marked change in the descriptive paper. This paper is conducted on the same day (afternoon) as the objective paper. So it is imperative for an aspirant to start preparing for both the exams together. A visible change in the pattern is the removal of Letter writing and inclusion of Comprehension. The time limit has also been increased from 3o to 60 min and the marks from 40 to 60.
